Authorities Seek Public Help to Identify Additional Victims in Ongoing Investigation

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) has announced the arrest of 19-year-old U.S. Marine Justin Ryder Simmons for sexually exploiting children online.

Arrested on June 16, 2025, at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Simmons was extradited to Arapahoe County on June 27 and booked into the detention facility on a $25,000 bond, from which he has since been released.

Investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit allege Simmons used the Snapchat username “simmonsj6842” and phone number 970-308-5998 to contact and exploit victims, facing charges including sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child sexual abuse material.

Authorities believe additional victims may exist and urge the public to contact the ACSO tip line at 720-874-8477 with information.

This case remains open, with Simmons presumed innocent until proven guilty, as the investigation continues to uncover the full scope of the crimes.
