Rep. Salud Carbajal’s actions endanger federal agents, escalating tensions at marijuana facility operation

U.S. Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-Calif.) allegedly doxxed an ICE officer during a chaotic raid on a cannabis facility, leading to a violent attack that sent the officer to the emergency room with lacerations from a rock thrown by rioters.

The July 10, 2025, operation targeted illegal activities at Glass House Farms, resulting in 361 arrests and the rescue of 14 migrant children from potential trafficking.

ICE claims Carbajal shared the officer’s business card with a mob of 500, inciting violence.

The congressman, linked to the facility’s donors, called the crowd “peaceful protesters” and claimed oversight, sidestepping the officer’s injuries.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin condemned Carbajal’s actions as “un-American,” citing a 700% surge in ICE assaults.

“The actions by Representative Carbajal are downright un-American. He dares to claim that his actions were simply congressional oversight, but doxing ICE personnel and inciting a mob of rioters to attack law enforcement is NOT oversight—it’s abominable.” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “His actions sent an ICE employee to the emergency room. It’s no wonder that ICE agents are facing a 700% increase in assaults when radical members of Congress like Salud Carbajal and LaMonica McIver are openly encouraging and leading their supporters in assaulting law enforcement.”

Critics question Carbajal’s motives, given his campaign ties, while ICE’s mission to combat crime underscores the raid’s necessity.
