Obakeng Ramabodu’s Violent Remarks Against Afrikaners Ignite Fears of Racial Persecution
Allegations of genocidal intent by South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), led by Julius Malema, have intensified fears for white South Africans, as detailed in a July 26, 2025, 10 Minutes with Kuhle YouTube exposé, hosted by Kuhle “Ngcamane” Maseko.
The “leaked” footage from a July 24, 2024, Tshwane Council meeting shows then EFF councillor Obakeng Ramabodu declaring, “I would be happy to moer a Boer… I want the blood of an Afrikaner.”
Ramabodu, a former Chief Panelist for the SAHRC’s Enquiry into Racial Discrimination and other forms of Discrimination in Advertising and Khulumani Support Group chair, “apologized” in a lengthy 5-page response to the complaint to the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) on October 1, 2024, claiming alleged provocation, but to date no SAHRC action has followed.
The SAHRC’s inaction since Ramabodu’s October 1, 2024, apology has sparked skepticism about its commitment to protecting white South Africans, who make up 7% of the population yet face escalating threats.
Critics question whether the SAHRC, tasked with upholding human rights for all, is neglecting the persecution of white minorities, as Malema’s unpunished and legalized “Kill the Boer” genocidal chant and Ramabodu’s remarks fuel fears of unchecked racial violence.
According to Maseko the U.S.-ANC sanctions bill H.R. 2633, citing racial tensions, signals global alarm as Afrikaner farmers face rising attacks, 3,287 since 2019.
Critics slam the ANC’s silence, warning of democratic and economic collapse.
