Nursing Student in Chicago Faces Backlash Over Racially Charged Post

A nursing student and certified nursing assistant at Prairie State College, Boyce Kametra Lee, has sparked outrage after a Facebook post where she allegedly claimed to intentionally harm white patients due to their race.
The post, which gained traction on X, drew swift condemnation, with users like Matt Van Swol calling for her immediate dismissal, license revocation, and investigation into patient deaths. Lee’s LinkedIn confirms her role as a CNA while pursuing an Associate of Science in Nursing.
According to a 2019 Chicago Tribune report, hospital workers face heightened risks of violence, with BLS data showing they experience higher rates of intentional injury than other sectors.
Prairie State College has not yet commented, but the incident has reignited concerns over patient safety and accountability in healthcare settings.
