On May 16, 2025, President Donald Trump criticized a Supreme Court ruling, claiming it allows “murderers, drug dealers, and gang members” into the U.S. by mandating a “long, protracted, and expensive legal process” for deportations.

In a post on X via RapidResponse47, Trump accused the Biden administration of enabling “millions of criminal aliens” to enter, arguing the decision endangers American public safety.

He referenced the ruling’s impact on his efforts to deport Venezuelan men linked to the Tren de Aragua gang, a move the Court previously blocked in April by limiting his use of the Alien Enemies Act.

President Trump urged Justices Alito and Thomas to protect the country, calling the ruling a “bad and dangerous day for America.”
