U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), led by its Dallas Enforcement and Removal Operations, coordinated a Department of Homeland Security effort to remove 122 illegal aliens to the People’s Republic of China on June 3.

The group, consisting of 96 males and 26 females aged 19 to 68, was transported on a Special High Risk Charter flight from ICE detention facilities nationwide, all with final removal orders.

The operation targeted individuals with serious criminal convictions, including murder, rape, drug trafficking, human smuggling, and lewd acts with a minor. Notable removals included a 47-year-old man convicted of murder, a 27-year-old man convicted of rape, a 49-year-old man convicted of drug trafficking, a 55-year-old man convicted of human smuggling, and a 50-year-old woman convicted of bribery.

“This operation enhances public safety and strengthens national security,” said Josh Johnson, acting Field Office Director for ICE Dallas. “Our team works tirelessly to identify, arrest, and remove illegal aliens who violate our nation’s immigration laws.”

ICE routinely arrests and detains individuals who have committed crimes or violated U.S. immigration laws, regardless of nationality.

Those found removable by final order face deportation.

The successful removal of these 122 individuals, many with egregious criminal records, highlights ICE’s ongoing efforts to protect communities and uphold the integrity of U.S. immigration policies.
