The Department of Homeland Security’s 2025 Career Expo for Law Enforcement in Chantilly, Virginia, saw an unprecedented turnout last week, with over 3,000 candidates vying for roles in border security, immigration enforcement, and national security.

The event resulted in more than 1,000 tentative job offers, nearly doubling the 564 offers from the 2023 expo. Despite recent anti-cop rhetoric and doxing threats, the Trump administration’s strong support for law enforcement, led by President Donald J. Trump and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, has fueled this surge.

Agencies like U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Secret Service, and the Transportation Security Administration engaged with applicants, conducting interviews and initiating background checks.

Notably, Border Patrol applications from January to May 2025 hit historic highs, and Secret Service recruitment soared by 200%, signaling a renewed commitment to public service.
