Oklahoma City, OK. — Abdullah Haji Zada, an 18-year-old Afghan national, pleaded guilty to terrorism-related firearms charges for plotting an ISIS-inspired Election Day attack in November 2024, aiming to use AK-47-style rifles and 500 rounds of ammunition.

Arrested in October 2024, Zada faces up to 15 years in prison and deportation to Afghanistan after his sentence. He and co-conspirator Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, acquired the weapons for the planned attack.
