House Judiciary Dems’ Claim of “Lawless” ICE Raid in Oklahoma Debunked

Oklahoma City, OK – On April 30, 2025, House Judiciary Democrats claimed armed federal agents stormed an Oklahoma home, terrorizing a U.S. family, including three children, due to ICE targeting the “wrong address” in a “lawless” raid.
They accused the Trump administration of shredding warrants and lacking accountability, vowing to stop funding such actions.
However, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) refuted this on May 1, stating the April 24 operation was a lawful, court-authorized search targeting a property—not individuals—linked to the Lima Lopez Transnational Criminal Organization.
Backed by an 84-page affidavit and surveillance, the warrant identified the residence as a human smuggling “stash house.” HSI agents, with Oklahoma state police, seized electronic devices as authorized.
DHS emphasized the operation’s precision, noting the ongoing investigation into the occupants’ potential involvement, countering claims of due process violations.
