Toledo Fugitive Captured in Atlanta After Year on the Run

Atlanta, GA – Tyrone Lamarr Hoskins, a 34-year-old fugitive wanted for aggravated riot, federal weapons violations, and parole violations tied to manslaughter, was arrested late on May 5, 2025, after fleeing Toledo, Ohio.

Hoskins, linked to an incident at Franklin Park Mall, had been sought since September 2024 and was featured in Toledo media as a wanted fugitive last October.

Authorities tracked him to Atlanta, where he was apprehended without incident in a vehicle on Morosgo Dr. NE. He now awaits extradition to Ohio to face charges.

U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott stated, “This arrest shows that no fugitive can escape justice.” The operation involved the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force, the U.S. Marshals Service, and the Atlanta Police Department, highlighting their coordinated efforts to apprehend dangerous offenders across state lines.
