Despite exhaustive efforts by detectives, all viable leads have been exhausted, prompting the police to turn to the community for help. The suspect is described as a man approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing around 175 pounds, with dark, shoulder-length hair. At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing white tennis shoes, green pants, and a black jacket. Authorities believe the suspect may have sustained facial injuries during the altercation.

The Aurora Police Department is urging anyone with information about the crime or the suspect to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.STOP (7867). Tipsters can remain anonymous, and there is a potential reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the suspect’s identification.

This assault is part of a broader concern for safety on the High Line Canal Trail, which has seen multiple attacks in recent years. The police department’s call for public assistance underscores the ongoing challenges in ensuring the security of public spaces and the importance of community cooperation in resolving such incidents.

The investigation remains active and ongoing, with authorities hopeful that public tips will provide the breakthrough needed to apprehend the suspect and bring justice to the victim.
