Lockheed Martin faces allegations of a racist bonus scandal.
A whistleblower alleges Lockheed Martin, America’s largest defense contractor, engaged in racial bias by awarding year-end bonuses based on skin color rather than performance, according to a City Journal report by Christopher F. Rufo and Ryan Thorpe on June 12, 2025.
The scandal centers on HR Director La Wanda Moorer, who reportedly ordered the replacement of 18 white employees with lower-performing minorities on the 2022 “Comp Adder” list.
Moorer’s LinkedIn account deletion has fueled speculation of guilt. The company claims to uphold meritocracy and is investigating, but critics point to past DEI policies, including racial reeducation for white males.
President Trump’s recent ban on discriminatory DEI programs and Harmeet Dhillon’s DOJ oversight signal potential legal action. Affected employees may sue, threatening public trust and contracts.
The controversy ignites debates over corporate diversity initiatives.
