A Wisconsin dairy farmer, Adam Faust, has filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture, alleging that Biden administration diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs discriminate against white farmers.

Represented by the conservative Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, Faust claims USDA policies favor minority and female farmers, violating constitutional equal treatment guarantees.

The lawsuit highlights three programs, including one charging Faust a $100 fee not applied to minorities and women, and others offering higher loan guarantees and cost reimbursements to non-white farmers.

Faust previously won a 2021 lawsuit against similar Biden-era policies deemed racially discriminatory.

The Wisconsin Institute, which warned the USDA in April, argues these programs unfairly disadvantage the 2 million white male farmers nationwide.

The Trump administration, now targeting DEI initiatives, has not yet commented.
