The shipment, en route from Nintendo America in Redmond, Washington, to a GameStop in Grapevine, Texas, contained the newly released consoles, each priced at $499.

The driver was unaware of the cargo, highlighting vulnerabilities in blind shipping practices.

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating whether the theft occurred in Bennett or elsewhere along the route.

Suspects could face felony theft and criminal mischief charges.

Authorities urge anyone with information to contact the Investigations Tipline at 720-874-8477.
